2.) Remove Dandruff with Coconut Oil and Citrus Fruits

From The Mother Huddle: mix 4 tablespoons coconut oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon grapefruit juice. Massage the mixture onto your dry scalp. Let it sit for 20 minutes and then rise with a shower.

3.) Get rid of puffy eyes with cucumber and green tea

Mix one tea bag of green tea with 1/2 of a grated cucumber. Wrap the mixture into a gauze (or a napkin or paper towel). Place under your eyes for 30 to 60 minutes. Cucumber is anti-inflammatory. It also contains antioxidants and multiple vitamins that protect and firm collagen. Green tea is also anti-inflammatory and contains powerful antioxidants, which aid the cucumbers. Green Tea also has vitamin K, which helps restore the skin back to normal.

4.) Reduce Cellulite with Coconut Oil

Dry brush coconut oil onto the affected areas for 5 minutes. Do this at least twice per week. The motion and abrasion of the brush will help your blood flow and remove toxins while the coconut oil works to firm your skin.

5.) Replace Deodorant with Baking Soda

You can replace deodorants filled with chemicals by using baking soda mixed with a dash of cornstarch. Baking soda will neutralize odors and cornstarch aids in preventing perspiration. You can add coconut oil to solidify the deodorant and add antibacterial qualities. You can also add essential oils for fragrance and other qualities. I prefer adding peppermint oil, lavender or frankincense.

6.) Banish Acne with Green Tea

This can be scrubbed away with some sugar or salt. Alternatively, you can use kasturi turmeric, an organic turmeric powder which will leave your skin color alone 🙂
