It has been a little while since we showcased a real wedding, and we have come back with a fantastic one. A lovely bride, Vanessa, sent us photos of her handcrafted wedding day. Vanessa says:
“My husband Mike and I were married last August 5th at the Inn on the Twenty in Jordan, Ontario. It was a part of a winery called Cave Springs. Our photographer’s name was. We chose a yellow and grey color scheme for the wedding and went from there. As a teacher, I am used to doing a lot of projects on a limited (or non-existent) budget, so I created the programs, chalk boards, candy bar, water bottle labels, place settings and much more by myself. My husband is a great photographer so we made the table numbers from photos he took. My mother created the centerpieces as well as the ceremony flowers.”
It is amazing that this couple was able to put together her own wedding with a bit of help from family? I am impressed that it turned out so beautifully. You cannot even tell that this wedding was created on a budget or that any component was DIY. Brides could take a few lessons from Vanessa. See the lovely wedding for yourself!
