Wedding of the Week: Shabby Chic

Shabby chic weddings are all the rage right now, but I find that only those that are genuinely shabby chic to be lovely. By that I mean only those that are truly simple, and not those that cost thousands and thousands of dollars just to have the appearance of a simple, shabby chic wedding {especially when set in an overly expensive locale}. This wedding is genuinely simple, and humble, but done so well that it is chic as well. With a small ceremony set on a lakeside and a reception set in an old schoolhouse, it has the genuine charm of simplicity. It’s not lacking any elements though, and each element is elegant done. And above all, this couple shows just what you can do with a limited budget. They prove you don’t need to overspend to have a lovely, and significant day. You just need taste and sensibility and this couple {and wedding} has both.
