This school year has been the first year I have felt a deep connection to my childrens’ schools and teachers. The other years have been fine. Nice teachers, blah, blah. But this year has been different. This year I felt like their teachers cared for them like a mother. This year I didn’t wish they were home rather than at school. This year I saw them grow in a way that can only be accomplished through nurturing. This year my heart is heavy at the prospect of school ending. So even though I try to do something nice for the teachers every year, this year I really wanted to go the extra mile for a their end-of-the-year gift. Thank goodness for Pinterest! Here are a few of my favorite ideas for gifts for teachers.
So cute! And I was just browsing their site for gifts yesterday, but I couldn’t figure out how to pull it all together. Ta-da!
I totally want to fill these with Tazo iced teabags and some dainty tea biscuits and dark chocolates. Maybe a few summer-y lotions too.
Fun beach products. I think I would get Aiden’s teacher a good classic novel in lieu of the mags. It just happens to be more in line with her interests.
You could use pencils instead, or maybe a mixture of both!
<3, The only change I would make would be to put the font on the other side of the board so that the kids can see it when she holds the board.
I would love to do this with some gourmet products to give them a more ‘grown-up’ s’more.
