This week while scrapbooking, I moved onto events that Asa was either involved in or that centered around him, like his birthday etc. But here are two fun pages that I just had to share with all of you. Movie Star and I have gone to Disneyland many times with Bonnie and her family and here are the best pictures of Asa at the Happiest Place on Earth!
When you do pages centered around Disney, it’s always best to go with fun, whimsical paper that really lends itself to the activites being done. Obviously, we were there with a couple kids so I wanted to go with a bright color (in this case yellow) and these polka dots matched Mickey’s coloring which just felt perfect. When I decided to stick with a Mickey Mouse theme I was reminded of the old cartoons which made me think about film rolls. So, I added something that resembles film on the first page – not that I did the best job with it, but it gets the job done.
There are so many options with Disneyland pages that you can really create something awesome. I just recommend picking a theme for your pages like Princess, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, Minnie and Mickey or any other Disney character. If you are making adult or teenage Disney pages and don’t want something so cutsie, I would just recommend some brightly patterned paper and a couple of Disney quotes. Just don’t forget to have fun with it!
